First sign: Apply at the first sign of a cold sore tingle, bump or itch for the best results. The sooner you apply, the better your chance of keeping a blister or scab from forming.

12+ years: Recommended for adults and children 12 years and over only.

Keep it clean: Remove any cosmetics before applying Zovirax Duo Cold Sore Cream. Always wash your hands with soap and water before and after treating your cold sore.

Don’t skimp or skip: Apply Zovirax Duo Cold Sore Cream five times during the day with a cotton swab or your finger. Use enough to completely cover the affected area. Rub in gently and completely. If you miss a dose, simply apply the next time you remember and continue on schedule. Wash your hands after applying the cream.

Don’t share: Cold sores are contagious. Do not share your tube with anybody else.

Make it up: You can apply cosmetics like lipstick over Zovirax Duo Cold Sore Cream after it has completely dried. Always use a separate make-up applicator, such as a cotton swab, to avoid spreading the infection.

Five days: Use Zovirax Duo Cold Sore Cream for five days. If the cold sore persists and is still present after 10 days, talk to your healthcare professional.
