Wellness shouldn’t come at the planet’s expense. We’re a small Australian business, so we focus on practical changes we can measure — from packaging and shipping to supplier standards and digital footprint.
What We’re Doing Now Live
- Recyclable parcels: FSC-certified boxes/mailers with water-activated paper tape (curbside-recyclable).
- Right-size packing: smallest suitable mailer; void fill only when necessary (paper only).
- Paperless ops: digital invoices and returns — less waste, faster processing.
- Supplier transparency: asking brands for packaging specs, excipients lists, country of origin, and COAs where available.
- Clear claims: no “eco” fluff — just specific materials and standards.

Packaging Standards We Use
- Boxes: FSC Mix or ≥70% recycled; single water-based ink.
- Satchels: Prefer curbside-recyclable; if compostable, must meet AS 5810 and include disposal instructions.
- Tape: Water-activated paper or natural-rubber paper tape only.
- Void fill: Recycled kraft paper (no plastic air pillows).
- Inserts: One A6 card max with QR to digital care guides.
Shipping & Returns (Smarter by Default)
- Carriers: Prefer services with route-level emissions reporting or carbon-neutral programs; we’ll state what we use.
- Bundle nudges: Cart hint encourages combining items to reduce shipments.
- Returns portal: Photo + reason → route to restock, donate, or recycle; track restock rate.
Suppliers & Product Curation
- We request: packaging recyclability, full excipients, country of origin, testing summaries/COAs, certifications.
- We prefer: recyclable primary packaging (glass/aluminium/HDPE), longer shelf-life, and clear documentation.
- We de-prioritise: mixed-material blisters with no take-back and excess outer packaging.
How We Measure Progress
- % orders in recyclable packaging.
- Average pack size and void-fill usage.
- Return rate and restock rate.
- Carrier emissions/neutral status where provided.
We publish a short yearly update with current metrics, improvements, and next targets.
Our Digital Footprint
- Optimised images and lazy-loading to reduce data transfer.
- Lean code: fewer scripts and fonts (readable, fast pages).
- Email design favours HTML text over heavy images.
