Do not use Pelargonium as a substitute for medical treatment of bronchitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis, pneumonia, influenza, COVID-19 or another viral or bacterial infection.
Seek prompt medical attention for shortness of breath, chest pain, high or persistent fever, confusion, dehydration, coughing up blood, marked weakness or rapidly worsening symptoms.
Mild digestive reactions such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach discomfort or difficulty swallowing have occasionally been reported with Pelargonium preparations.
Mild nose or gum bleeding has also rarely been reported.
Consult your healthcare practitioner before use if you have a bleeding disorder or take anticoagulant or antiplatelet medication.
Liver problems have been reported with Pelargonium products, although their frequency and direct relationship to the herb are uncertain.
Stop use and seek medical advice if yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, pale stools, severe upper abdominal pain, unusual itching or unexplained fatigue develops.
Consult your healthcare practitioner before use if you have existing liver disease or take medicines that may affect liver function.
