Withania Complex contains Withania, traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine as a calmative and nervine to relieve sleeplessness. In addition, Korean Ginseng and Withania are traditionally used in Western herbal medicine as adaptogens to help the body adapt to stress.

Withania (Withania somnifera) extract 95 mg (derived from 950 mg dry root), Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) extract 62.5 mg (derived from 750 mg dry root), Skullcap (Scutellaria lateriflora) extract 940 microlitre (derived from 470 mg dry herb), Korean ginseng (Panax ginseng) extract 20 mg (derived from 100 mg dry root, standardised to ginsenosides Rg1, Re, Rb1, Rb2, Rc & Rd 1.68 mg).

Adults: Take 1 tablet 3 to 6 times daily.

Calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, croscarmellose sodium, glucose monohydrate, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycollate.

  • NO ADDED: Gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, corn, egg, sesame seeds, artificial sweeteners, colours, or flavours.
  • Vegan friendly.
  • Do not use if pregnant or likely to become pregnant.
  • Contraindicated in patients taking phenelzine.
  • Due to Licorice: caution is advised in patients receiving prednisolone by injection, in those taking albendazole and in those with elevated liver enzymes taking immunosuppressives; contraindicated in hypertension, oedema and in those taking thiazide or loop diuretics.
  • Caution is advised in patients taking central nervous system stimulants, insulin or oral hypoglycaemic drugs, nifedipine and warfarin.
  • Korean Ginseng is best not used during acute infections.
  • Monitor patients taking thyroxine.
  • Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.
  • If patient symptoms persist, seek additional professional advice.
