FE-MAX FAQSCommon Questions About Fe-Max
What is Fe-Max used for?

Fe-Max is designed to support healthy iron levels, red blood cell production, oxygen transport and general wellbeing. It may suit adults looking for practitioner-style iron support alongside key nutrients involved in energy and blood health.

What makes Fe-Max different from a regular iron supplement?

Fe-Max combines iron bisglycinate with vitamin C, active B vitamins, methylfolate, methyl B12, Withania and Codonopsis. This gives it broader support for iron status, red blood cell health, vitality and general resilience than a basic iron-only tablet.

What form of iron does Fe-Max contain?

Fe-Max contains iron amino acid chelate, providing 12 mg of elemental iron per tablet. Iron bisglycinate is often used when a gentler iron form is preferred.

Does Fe-Max support energy levels?

Fe-Max may help support healthy energy levels by supporting iron levels, red blood cell production and oxygen transport. Tiredness can have many causes, so ongoing or unexplained fatigue should be discussed with a healthcare professional.

Why does Fe-Max include vitamin C?

Vitamin C is included to support iron absorption and provide antioxidant support. It complements the iron component and helps support general wellbeing.

Why does Fe-Max include B vitamins, folate and B12?

Fe-Max includes active B2, active B6, levomefolate and methyl B12 to support red blood cell health, energy metabolism and general nutrient status. These nutrients work alongside iron in blood and energy-related pathways.

Why does Fe-Max include Withania and Codonopsis?

Withania and Codonopsis are included as supportive herbs for vitality and general wellbeing. They help broaden the formula beyond simple iron replacement.

How do I take Fe-Max?

Adults should take 1 tablet twice daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Follow the directions on the label and avoid taking extra iron unless professionally advised.

Who should avoid or seek advice before using Fe-Max?

Do not use Fe-Max if you have haemochromatosis, haemosiderosis or iron-loading anaemias such as thalassaemia or sideroblastic anaemia. Speak with a qualified healthcare practitioner before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication, managing a medical condition or unsure whether iron is suitable for you.

Are there any medication, surgery or storage cautions?

Separate Fe-Max by at least two hours from medicines such as levodopa, levothyroxine, methyldopa, penicillamine, quinolones, tetracyclines, bisphosphonates and cholestyramine. Do not combine with allopurinol unless professionally advised. Discontinue 7 days before general anaesthesia unless your healthcare professional advises otherwise, and keep out of reach of children.
