GINKGO FORTE FAQSCommon Questions About Ginkgo Forte
What is Ginkgo Forte used for?

Ginkgo Forte is designed to support healthy peripheral circulation, cognitive performance in older adults and antioxidant protection. It may suit adults looking for practitioner-style herbal support for circulation and mental function.

What is Ginkgo biloba?

Ginkgo biloba is a traditional herb made from the leaves of the ginkgo tree. In Ginkgo Forte, it is provided as a concentrated leaf extract standardised for key plant compounds.

What makes Ginkgo Forte different from a regular ginkgo supplement?

Ginkgo Forte provides a standardised 50:1 Ginkgo biloba leaf extract. Each tablet contains 60 mg of extract from 3 g of dry leaf, standardised to ginkgo flavonglycosides, ginkgolides and bilobalide.

Does Ginkgo Forte support circulation?

Yes. Ginkgo Forte is formulated to support healthy peripheral circulation. It is not intended to treat circulatory disease, and people with circulation concerns should seek professional advice.

Can Ginkgo Forte support cognitive performance?

Ginkgo Forte may help support cognitive performance in older adults. It should be used alongside healthy sleep, regular movement, good nutrition and professional care where memory or cognition changes are persistent or concerning.

Does Ginkgo Forte provide antioxidant support?

Yes. Ginkgo Forte provides antioxidant support and helps protect cells from free radical stress caused by normal metabolism and everyday environmental exposure.

How do I take Ginkgo Forte?

Adults should take 1 tablet, 1–4 times daily, for a minimum of 6 weeks, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Always follow the directions on the label and avoid exceeding the recommended intake.

Who should seek advice before using Ginkgo Forte?

Speak with a qualified healthcare practitioner before use if you take anticoagulant or antiplatelet medicines, antipsychotics, anticonvulsants, diabetes medication, HIV non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors, benzodiazepines, omeprazole, tolbutamide, nifedipine or other regular medication.

Is Ginkgo Forte suitable before surgery?

Ginkgo Forte should be discontinued 7 days before general anaesthesia unless your healthcare professional advises otherwise. This is especially important because ginkgo may interact with medicines that affect bleeding or the nervous system.
