S.S.S. provides a balanced combination of sodium sulphate and silica in a single tablet, designed to support your body’s mineral needs. This formula is well-suited for various age groups, including infants, children, pregnant and lactating women, and the elderly, and is generally well tolerated when prescribed by a healthcare professional.

  • Combines sodium sulphate and silica in a single tablet.
  • Well tolerated at recommended doses, making it suitable for a wide range of individuals.
  • Tablet can be halved or crushed for easier dosing, especially for children.


Sodium sulphate anhydrous 195 mg (equiv. elemental sodium 63.1 mg), silicon dioxide 33 mg; each tablet contains lactose 200 mg.

Adults: Take 1 tablet 3 times daily with meals or as professionally prescribed.
Children under 12 years: As professionally prescribed.



Caution may be required in some patients due to sodium content. In addition, S.S.S. may interact with certain other medications your patients may be taking. Sodium may increase the risk of oedema associated with antihypertensive agents (calcium channel blockers, vasodilators), corticosteroids, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents, oestrogens, liquorice, and carbenoxolone.
