GIT REGENEX FAQSCommon Questions About GIT Regenex
What is GIT Regenex used for?

GIT Regenex is designed to support healthy gut lining integrity, gastrointestinal mucous membrane comfort and digestive wellbeing. It may suit adults looking for practitioner-style gut barrier and mucosal support.

What ingredients are in GIT Regenex?

GIT Regenex contains glutamine, acacia gum, deglycyrrhizinised licorice extract, slippery elm powder and zinc carnosine. These ingredients are combined to support gut lining health, digestive comfort and gastrointestinal mucous membranes.

What makes GIT Regenex different from a regular gut health powder?

GIT Regenex is more targeted than a basic fibre, probiotic or digestive enzyme powder. It combines amino acid support, soothing herbs, prebiotic-style fibre and zinc carnosine for broader gut lining and mucosal support.

Why does GIT Regenex include glutamine?

Glutamine is an amino acid commonly used in gut health formulas to support gastrointestinal lining integrity and normal tissue repair processes. In GIT Regenex, it forms the main amino acid component of the formula.

Why does GIT Regenex include zinc carnosine?

Zinc carnosine is included to support gut wall lining repair and healthy mucosal integrity. Each dose provides polaprezinc equivalent to 16 mg of elemental zinc.

Why does GIT Regenex include slippery elm and licorice?

Slippery elm and deglycyrrhizinised licorice are traditionally used to soothe gastrointestinal mucous membranes. Deglycyrrhizinised licorice has had most of the glycyrrhizinic acid removed, making it different from regular licorice extracts.

How do I take GIT Regenex?

Adults should mix 6.15 g of powder, or 2 level metric teaspoons, in 150–200 mL of water or juice, twice daily, preferably with meals. Stir well and drink immediately.

Who should avoid or seek advice before using GIT Regenex?

Do not use GIT Regenex if you have intestinal obstruction. Speak with a qualified healthcare practitioner before use if you have epilepsy or a seizure disorder, liver disease, are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or managing a medical condition.

Can GIT Regenex be taken with medication?

Take GIT Regenex at least 2 hours away from medicines, including tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, bisphosphonates and thyroid hormone. This spacing helps reduce the risk of minerals or fibres affecting medicine absorption.

Are there any zinc, surgery, allergen or storage cautions?

GIT Regenex contains zinc, which may be dangerous if taken in large amounts or for a long period. Discontinue 7 days before general anaesthesia unless advised otherwise. It is vegan friendly and has no added gluten, soy, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, corn, egg, sesame seeds or artificial colours. Store as directed on the label and keep out of reach of children.
