What is BioMedica OxyGuard?

BioMedica OxyGuard is a practitioner-style broad-spectrum antioxidant formula designed to support glutathione production, cellular protection, cardiovascular health and general wellbeing.

What does BioMedica OxyGuard help support?

BioMedica OxyGuard helps support antioxidant defence, glutathione production, cardiovascular health, capillary health, immune system function and protection from free radical damage.

How is BioMedica OxyGuard different from a basic antioxidant supplement?

BioMedica OxyGuard is not a simple vitamin C, vitamin E or resveratrol-only product. It combines plant antioxidants, antioxidant nutrients, mineral cofactors and amino acids to support broader cellular antioxidant protection.

What ingredients are in BioMedica OxyGuard?

BioMedica OxyGuard contains resveratrol from Japanese knotweed, green tea, grape seed, ginkgo, milk thistle, turmeric, bilberry, rutin, beta-carotene, vitamin C, zinc, selenium, glycine, cysteine, glutamine, vitamin E and mixed tocopherols.

Why does BioMedica OxyGuard contain resveratrol and green tea?

Resveratrol and green tea are included for antioxidant support. In BioMedica OxyGuard, they contribute to the formula’s broad cellular protection and free radical defence profile.

Why does BioMedica OxyGuard contain glycine, cysteine and glutamine?

Glycine, cysteine and glutamine are included because they are amino acid building blocks involved in glutathione production. This gives BioMedica OxyGuard a glutathione-support angle alongside its antioxidant nutrients.

Why does BioMedica OxyGuard contain zinc and selenium?

Zinc and selenium are included as antioxidant mineral cofactors. They help support normal antioxidant enzyme activity, immune function and cellular protection from oxidative stress.

How do adults take BioMedica OxyGuard?

The adult dose is 1 capsule twice daily, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Always read the label and follow the directions for use.

Are there any important warnings for BioMedica OxyGuard?

Yes. BioMedica OxyGuard contains a small amount of caffeine from green tea. It also contains selenium, which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 micrograms of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded.
