Safety information:

Galangal is generally well tolerated. Clinical research using enXtra™ galangal extract has demonstrated a good safety and tolerability profile at doses of up to 600 mg daily for 12 weeks, with no observed effects on heart rate, blood pressure, or sleep, and no reports of jitteriness or withdrawal effects following discontinuation. There is insufficient reliable information regarding the safety of galangal when used in medicinal amounts during pregnancy and lactation, and use is therefore not recommended in these populations. Products containing isomalt may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea in some individuals.
