MediHerb Bacto-Cand GI’s modified release capsules contain high-quality extracts of Andrographis standardized to andrographolide and Phellodendron standardized to berberine, along with oregano and anise oil. This unique combination is designed to support healthy digestion, liver function, and overall gastrointestinal health, making it an essential addition to your wellness regimen. 

  • Andrographis is traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine to support healthy digestion, liver function, and gastrointestinal system health.
  • Phellodendron is traditionally used in Chinese medicine to reduce loose stools, relieve diarrhea, resolve dampness, and disperse heat.
  • Aniseed essential oil is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine as a carminative, relieving flatulence and abdominal bloating.

Each capsule contains:Phellodendron amurense (Phellodendron) stem bark extract 80 mg (derived from minimum dry stem bark 1.6 g, standardised to contain berberine 38 mg); Andrographis paniculata (Andrographis) whole plant extract 100 mg (derived from minimum dry whole plant 1 g, standardised to contain andrographolide 10 mg); Anise oil (Pimpinella anisum) 125 mg; Origanum vulgare (Oregano) leaf essential oil 75 mg.


1-2 capsules 3 times daily, before food.


Lecithin, yellow beeswax, rice bran oil, glycerol, gelatin, sorbitol, chlorophyllin-copper complex, purified water, hydrochloric acid, and pectin.


No Added: Gluten, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, corn, egg, sesame seeds, artificial sweeteners, or flavors.

  • Andrographis may cause allergic reactions in some people. If your patient has a severe reaction (such as anaphylaxis), stop use and advise immediate medical attention.
  • Andrographis has reports of causing taste disturbance, including loss of taste. If your patient develops any adverse symptoms, stop use and advise medical assessment.
  • Contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.
  • If patient symptoms persist, seek additional professional advice.
